Spanning the towns of Bridgton and Denmark, only in Maine would this be called a "Pond". With twelve miles of scenic beauty, Moose Pond offers great fishing, water skiing, kayaking and canoeing. Moose Pond is really three interconnected lakes, the lower basin (31 feet) has good fishing for small and largemouth bass, pickeral, and white perch. The deeper/large middle basin (70 feet) has excellent water quality for salmon and lake trout. Largemouth bass and pickeral dominate the upper basin (31 feet). It's cleanliness rating is very high. The shoreline is wooded and hilly. Average lake temperature at the surface is 76 degrees and at 30 feet - 57 degrees. Moose Pond has 2 public boat launches.
